perfect half boiled eggs!

Some of my colleagues brought this ingenious device to the office pantry. It’s a very simple design of a slow-draining container, but it creates the most perfect half-boiled eggs ever! You simply fill the container with one to four eggs, and add water from a typical hotpot or hot water dispenser to the indicated level. Here, we’re cooking two eggs, so we filled it to the second line:
Then, you wait. The water slowly drains into the receptacle below the eggholder, and once it drains, you get perfect half-boiled eggs! I’m always amazed by simple yet effective designs. In this case, it’s so much better than going to Yakun and forking out more than a dollar for their eggs. Lucky I have such cool colleagues.
