Sepia

Have you ever witnessed that brief moment around sunset, when the whole world suddenly turns sepia? It lasts for a few minutes at most, but everything is bathed in a special kind of sunlight that just makes everything look more vibrant and alive. I wonder if there’s any name for it. It’s surreal and kind of scary. I mean, it’s easy to imagine some sort of Stephen King-esque explanation, like the thinning in the fabrics between worlds or somesuch. And I’ve heard ghost stories about how it’s during this moment when seeing ghosts becomes really easy. Pish posh. Oh well. I just think it’s beautiful.
